THE WRATH OF GOD, JUDGMENT UPON GENERATIONS, AND THE SEPARATION OF GOOD FROM EVIL

God is a righteous Judge. His wrath is revealed against ungodliness and wickedness. Human wrongdoing may bring consequences upon subsequent generations; however, each person is also accountable for their own actions before God.

JUDGMENT AND FIRE
On the Day of Judgment, those found guilty will face punishment described in Scripture through the imagery of fire. This imagery emphasizes the seriousness of God's judgment against evil.

THE SEPARATION OF GOOD FROM EVIL
God will separate the righteous from the wicked, just as wheat is separated from weeds. This imagery appears in Matthew 13:40–42 and Matthew 13:49–50.
